MARS is led by founder Aijaz Mohammad and supported by a senior aviation advisory board.

Aijaz Mohammad

Founder & Principal Investor

Aijaz Mohammad is a UAE-based logistics entrepreneur, Managing Director of AAA Freight Services, and the founder and principal investor of MARS. Born in the UAE and a Golden Visa holder with over four decades of UAE residency, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce and pursued the CPA (USA) qualification, with early career experience in finance at Deloitte before founding AAA in 2010.

AAA Freight Services began as a land haulage operation in Dubai and has grown over fifteen years into a multi-emirate logistics group. The business now operates six specialized warehousing facilities across the UAE, with approximately 700,000 sqft of leased land and 400,000 sqft of built warehousing capacity dedicated primarily to chemical logistics — a high-compliance, infrastructure-intensive vertical that requires deep regulatory and operational discipline. The group has expanded internationally with freight forwarding offices in the United Kingdom, Turkey, and India, and is planning to develop warehousing operations in each of those markets. AAA's aviation logistics activity at Dubai World Central serves regional operators with time-critical cargo movement, air charter solutions, and dedicated storage for aviation consumables, spare parts, engines, and aircraft interiors — providing the group with direct, ground-level insight into the operational realities of the regional aviation supply chain.

It was through this aviation logistics work — combined with the launch of the MBR Aerospace Hub in December 2025 and the Dubai government's commitment to consolidate Dubai's primary aviation activity at DWC by 2032 — that Aijaz identified a structural demand-supply imbalance in the regional aviation supply chain that warranted a dedicated infrastructure platform. When Dubai South offered an airside plot designated for MRO development, the convergence of opportunity, market timing, and AAA's proven track record of building specialized infrastructure from the ground up provided the conviction to commit capital. MARS was established to deliver that infrastructure, pairing AAA's operational discipline with technical and commercial aviation expertise drawn from a senior advisory bench. The DWC plots subsequently sold out; no comparable airside MRO development sites remain available within Dubai South.

Aijaz leads MARS with an active-oversight model. Day-to-day execution sits with the operational team and the advisory bench, with whom he operates as an embedded partner; he provides strategic direction and intervenes on challenges that exceed the team's existing capability. Formal board governance is in place to maintain corporate discipline. His leadership philosophy — refined over fifteen years of building AAA — centres on team empowerment, progression over perfection, and long-term commitment to the sectors AAA enters. The same posture has shaped MARS from its founding.
